Kristen Hoggatt-Abader
I am a Senior Lecturer in the Writing Program at the University of Arizona. I’m the author of Arab Winter, a chapbook of poems, and several columns published by Arizona Daily Star, The Smart Set, and other outlets. I hold an MFA from Emerson College and a Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from the UA. My research interests include Second Language Writing, Universal Design–reframed as Imaginative Design–and disability studies. I enjoy working out, poetry, visiting cool places, and hanging out with my family and friends.
I am currently sitting on several unpublished fiction, nonfiction, and poetry manuscripts, including the novels Almost Unimaginable and All My Broken Dishes: Being Hemiplegic in a Bilateral World. If you are a literary agent or publisher, please check out their respective synopses on this page.
